Yoga Nidra…where savasana ends…yoga nidra begins….
Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness. It is intended to induce full-body relaxation, while the mind enters a state of deep, meditative awareness. The practice of yoga nidra deeply rests and restores participants through guided imagery and deep relaxation, leading to stress relief, and deep inner peace. All you have to do is relax and listen, while tensions of the mind and body are released. The soothing sounds of a chakra drum and gong will close the practice, leaving you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and renewed. For all levels, no yoga experience required, wear comfortable clothing.*This class will take place directly after the 530pm Hatha class which will lead us into the yoga nidra. You can take one, or take both classes back to back for an extended Friday night practice.
